Band camp is off to a great start!  The kids jumped right in and started learning the show.  Practice will continue this week Monday through Friday 10 AM - 9 PM and Saturday 12 PM - 2 PM with a pool party following at the Westmeade Swim Club.  (Admission will be $2 plus food.) 

For our new parents, Band Camp always ends with a performance, more of a "sneak preview" of the show.  We hope you will be able to join us Saturday.  (More information will follow.)

We still have students missing some forms from their information packet and/or physicals.  Please have this taken care of as soon as possible so your student will be able to participate.  We will have another nurse practitioner available at dinner time on Tuesday (tonight) for anyone who needs a physical. Cost is $25.

Band Camp is the time for parents to really get a jump on the work we need to complete before marching season begins. Any help is welcome for any amount of time you can donate during the day or in the evenings. We need to work on props for the show, cleaning the concession stand to get it ready for football games, uniforms fitting and sewing, organizing, etc. If you can help, please come and someone should be there to point you in a direction. If you don't find another parent, check with a director.

Finally, our Booster meetings.  Booster meetings are usually held on the first Tuesday of the month to coincide with the directors' other commitments.  Information about the next meeting will follow.
